About Larry

Jesus Christ saved me and gave me eternal life at the age of nine years old and He became my Savior. After graduating from High School and attending college in Pasadena,TX. I had a decision to make. God had been dealing with me about letting Him be the Lord of my life. It was in Pasadena, at Thomas Avenue Baptist Church that I surrendered and rededicated my life to the Lord. At that time God called me to preach His Word, which was in August of 1968. That was a special moment in my life.

After attending some college I joined the Navy. God used me to assist the Chaplin with services when he came on board the ship. In 1970, while in the Navy, we went to Tijuana. A missionary invited me to preach the gospel; we went throughout the streets and the bars bringing people to the mission so they could hear the gospel. After God led me to preach a simple salvation message, every person that was there stood up, came to the altar and received Jesus Christ as their Savior. It was obvious that the hearts of the people had been prepared by God to receive His Son. There were about twenty-five people in attendance. This is one of my most memorable experiences as a young preacher.

After my honorable discharge from the Navy, the Lord led me to meet Pamela Bryce. It was during a revival where I was pastoring at that time. We feel in love and later married. Pam has worked with me in children’s ministries, youth meeting’s; she also sings and helps with the choir. She has been a great asset to my ministry.

In August of 2004 I received my Bachelor of Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, Georgia. On May 11th 2007, I received a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Christian Ministries from Dallas Baptist University. I am currently working on my Master of Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camille Georgia, and Master of Divinity from Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary in Jacksonville Texas.

At the present, my wife and I are members of Neuville Baptist Church in Neuville TX., where God has given me the privilege to serve as Pastor. God has blessed our faithfulness. We have seen God bring deliverance from the bondage of sin and change lives. With this great honor to serve Him comes great responsibility and obstacles to overcome. However, we have learned that all obstacles are just stepping stones along the path of life God has called us to.
